Once I was cooking some corn and stuck my fork in the boiling
water to see if the corn was ready. I missed and my hand went
into the boiling water...

在一次煮玉米粥時，我用叉子在沸騰的粥裏翻攪，想看看粥好了沒有。

我錯手沒拿到叉子，而把手碰進了沸水裏面！痛得我尖叫起來！

A friend of mine, who was a Vietnam vet, came into the house, just
as I was screaming, and asked me if I had some plain old flour...I
pulled out a bag and he stuck my hand in it.  He said to keep my hand
in the flour for 10 mins. which I did.  He said that in Vietnam , this guy
was on fire and in their panic, they threw a bag of flour all over him to
put the fire out...well, it not only put the fire out, but he never even had
a blister!!!!

一位越南朋友,他是位獸醫，恰巧來到我家，我正在尖叫！他即刻問我有沒有麵粉。我拿出一袋麵粉，他叫我把手伸進去，並且放在麵粉裏10分鐘，我照做了。他說，在越南曾有一個傢伙身上著火了，眾人在驚慌中把一袋子的麵粉撒在他的身上滅火。但令人驚訝的是，它不僅滅了火，被燒那傢伙的身上競沒有水泡！

So, I put my hand in the bag of flour for 10 mins, and then pulled it out and had not even a red mark or a blister and absolutley NO PAIN.

Now, I keep a bag of flour in the fridge and every time I burn myself,
I use the flour and never ONCE have I ever had a red spot, a burn or a blister!
*cold flour feels even better than room temperature flour.

我把手放在麵粉裏10分鐘後拿出來，手上確実沒有灼傷的紅印或者水泡，完全沒有受傷！

現在，我總會在冰箱放一袋子麵粉，每次不小心灼傷自己，我就用麵粉敷，沒有一次是有紅印或水泡的。

*注意：冷麵粉比常溫麵粉效果更佳！

Miracle, if you ask me. Keep a bag of white flour in your fridge and you will be happy you did.  I even burnt my tongue and put the flour on it for about 10 mins, and the pain was gone and no burn.  Try it!

Don't run your burn area under Cold water first, just put it right into the flour for 10 mins and experience a miracle!

奇跡！如果你問我的話。放一袋白麵粉在冰箱是不會錯的。我甚至在燙到舌頭的時候，把麵粉敷在上面10分鐘，傷去無痕！試一試吧！

不要把你燙傷的地方馬上放在冷水下沖洗，而要放在麵粉裏10分鐘，你會發現奇跡的！

Decorative Magnets On Refrigerator

A number of researchers at Princeton 's University have discovered something scary!

For several months, they were feeding two groups of mice: the first group with food kept in a refrigerator, and the second group with food kept in a refrigerator as well but with several decorative magnets on the door.

The objective of this experiment was to see how electromagnetic radiation (that coming out from the decorative magnets on the door) affect food items. Amazingly, rigorous clinical studies stated that the group of mice that consumed the "radiated" food had as much as 87% higher probability to get cancer than the other group of mice.

Inexplicably no Governments or health associations/institutions have given any statement on this regard. However and just in case, is recommendable to remove any decorative magnet from refrigerators, and put it far away from any food.

1、巨大的意大利白松露。一塊重達1.5千克的意大利白松露菌在中國澳門拍賣。澳門知名人士何鴻燊以33萬美元競得這塊稀世珍品。松露是一種天然真菌類植物，與香檳、魚子醬同被譽為世界三大珍味。它生長在地下，不易被人發覺，加上出產地不多，因此相當名貴。

Pas Meets Penang Bishop

A delegation of about a dozen Pas representatives made a courtesy call to new Penang Diocese Bishop Sebastian Francis at his office at the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit yesterday to congratulate him on his recent appointment.

The Pas delegation comprising mainly Penang Pas representatives was led by Parit Buntar MP Mujahid Yusof Rawa.

Also present were College General seminary rector Fr Gerard Theraviam and Cathedral parish priest Fr Bernard Paul.

Ustaz Soib Mohd Amin said a prayer for peace and for closer Muslim-Christian relations?

Bishop Sebastian reciprocated by saying the Bapa Kami (Our Father) as a prayer for the nation. The new bishop also stressed the importance of cultivating a deep spirituality – an aspiration shared by people of other faiths – in forging closer Muslim-Christian ties.

Both sides pointed to their common Abrahamic heritage,  which could serve as a foundation to promote better interreligious understanding.

The Pas delegation then presented the Bishop with a book and a specially baked ‘good luck’ cake.

Bishop Sebastian then hosted tea and refreshments for the visitors.

The meeting yesterday was initiated by Mujahid and Pas representatives, who had sent a letter to the Bishop informing him of their wish to make a courtesy call.

Healing Miracle For Burn‏

A young man sprinkling his lawn and bushes with pesticides wanted to check the contents of the barrel to see how much pesticide remained in it. He raised the cover and lit his lighter; the vapours ignited and engulfed him. He jumped from his truck, screaming. His neighbour came out of her house with a dozen eggs and a bowl yelling, "Bring me some more eggs!"

She broke them, separating the whites from the yolks.
The neighbour woman helped her to apply the whites onto the young man's face.
When the ambulance arrived and the EMTs saw the young man, they asked who had done this. Everyone pointed to the lady in charge.
They congratulated her and said, "You have saved his face."
By the end of the summer, the young man brought the lady a bouquet of roses to thank her. His face was like a baby's skin.

A Healing Miracle for Burns:


Keep in mind this treatment of burns is being included in teaching beginner fireman. First Aid consists of first spraying cold water on the affected area until the heat is reduced which stops the continued burning of all layers of the skin. Then, spread the egg whites onto the affected area.
One woman burned a large part of her hand with boiling water. In spite of the pain, she ran cold tap water on her hand, separated 2 egg whites from the yolks, beat them slightly and dipped her hand in the solution. The whites then dried and formed a protective layer. She later learned that the egg white is a natural collagen and continued during at least one hour to apply layer upon layer of beaten egg white. By afternoon she no longer felt any pain and the next day there was hardly a trace of the burn. 10 days later, no trace was left at all and her skin had regained its normal colour. The burned area was totally regenerated thanks to the collagen in the egg whites, a placenta full of vitamins.
