ANZAC Day commemorates the landing of
Australian and New Zealand troops on the shores of Gallipoli, on 25
April 1915. On ANZAC Day, Australians not only honour the spirit of the
original ANZACs but also remember those who fought and died in all wars
and conflicts, from the New Zealand War in 1863 to conflicts of today,
including Afghanistan and Iraq.
